Missed Appointment/Late Cancellation Policy

Please take your time to read through the following information carefully.

By making a booking with Helen Rigler at The Egdon Heath Practice, you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions regarding missed appointments and late cancellations.  Should you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible in order that the appointment may be given to somebody else. 

If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please give at least 24 hours advance notice to ensure that you will not be charged.  Please be mindful that missed appointments, and those where less than 24 hours-notice is given (and the slot is unable to be reallocated), will result in you being charged for the full cost of the treatment booked. 

However, in the event that you:

  • are taken ill with a sickness/gastric virus

  • are displaying symptoms of Covid-19 e.g., fever, new persistent cough, flu like symptoms, loss of taste (either yourself or someone in your household)

  • are 37+ weeks pregnant and require medical treatment

then we respectfully ask that you do not attend your appointment and you will not be charged. (NB: Failure to inform us of your non-attendance though will result in the booking being classed as a missed appointment, and the full cost the treatment booked will be payable).
